Hail claim rebuild
Colonial after the June storm
Golf-ball hail bruised every slope. We tarped the same night, met the adjuster with a 64-photo report and had the new roof and gutters on within three weeks of approval.
(The brief)
The June 18 storm dropped hail up to 1.75 inches across Kestrel Heights in about twelve minutes. A skylight on the back slope cracked and water was coming into the upstairs landing by 21:00.
The owners called the storm line, then their insurer. They needed the house dry that night and a report that would stand up in front of an adjuster who was going to see dozens of roofs that week.

How it turned out
The claim was approved in full on the first review, with nothing left for the owners to pay beyond the deductible and the upgrade they chose. The Class 4 shingle may also lower their premium; we sent the certificate of installation their insurer asked for the same afternoon.
